The Chippewa Rod and Gun Club annual Big Buck contest is open to all members and their families. The contest runs through the Wisconsin Deer season.
The club is having its Big Buck Contest again this year. A trophy will be provided by the club to the winner. Scores will be determined based on the largest outside spread measurement, plus each point that is at least one inch long.

The Chippewa Rod and Gun Club Youth Deer contest is open to all club families and area Hunter Education graduates. The youth hunter must be 10-17 years of age.
All entries will receive a special certificate for framing, which will recognizes their sucessful hunt. A Drawing from all entries will take place, with one hunter selected randomly to receive a trophy from the Chippewa Rod and Gun Club. The winner will be invited to receive the award at a future club meeting and share their story of his/her successful hunt.
Fill out and submit this Youth Deer Recognition Form by the end of the January 1, 2017 to be eligible to win a trophy.
The hunter can enter a deer (buck or doe) from the October Youth Gun Deer Hunt, November Gun Deer Season, Muzzleloader Season, or the December Antlerless hunt. All Entries must be postmarked by January 1, 2017.
The 2016 winner of the Youth Deer Award was acknowledged at the March 2017 meeting of the Chippewa Rod and Gun Club for successfully harvesting a Big Buck on the second day of the gun hunting season.
