2017 Take a Vet Fishing

The Club will be taking the Veterans from the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Chippewa Falls every week this summer. The fishing starts at 9:15am and finishes after lunch - about 12:30. We will be using pontoons again this year. The event alternates between Wednesdays and Thursdays so be sure to check the calender for the correct date. The dates of the event are 6/7, 6/15, 6/21, 6/29, 7/5, 7/13, 7/19, 8/2, 8/10, 8/16, and 8/30. Call Ron if you have any questions.


Free Fishing Clinic on Saturday June 3rd at Marshall Park, Chippewa Falls.

The Chippewa Rod and Gun Club is hosting a Learn to Fish Event Saturday, June 3rd at Marshall Park in Chippewa Falls. This is an opportunity to get together with friends and learn the basics of fishing from Club members. There will be free fishing rods available, learn to tie knots, learn to bait hooks, learn to clean fish and there will be an opportunity to eat fresh fried fish. The event runs from noon to 4pm. Marshall Park is on Bridgewater Ave across from the entrance to Irving Park.


The 2017 Hunter Safety Class Schedule Is Now Available

Names are being taken for the Spring DNR Hunter Safety Classes. The Spring Class will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays on March 21, 23, 28, 30 and April 4 and 6 and the Field Test, Final Exam and Graduation on Saturday, April 8.
